This is not just about my country, I guess it's the same all around the world, but honestly, I haven't personally seen such a thing in other countries. Even while living in a monastery, in Italy.
I haven't got anything against religion, but I really don't like very religious people. Here is how it is in my country: people like asking questions about your religion and judge you accordingly. Like if you don't go to church often enough or don't pray every day or don't cross yourself every time you see a church, you're not such a good person, or you're a bad person. God forbid you say that you're not christian or worse - atheist. Then you're really worse than a murderer. How is a christian murderer than an atheist/non christian good guy - no one can tell, but that's how it is.
Also if you say that you are not a christian, they always ask your nationality. Like someone from here can't be a 'godless' person.
Most of the people don't even actually know what they believe in. I mean they are christians, sure, but what exactly does the bible say? What does christianity really mean? Why so many dogmas? they can't really say. They just believe blindly, or understand bible just as they want.
"You're a woman, therefore you're not allowed to wear pants. God hates ladies with pants!"
I don't remember Jesus wearing pants, either, does that mean man can't wear pants too?
"You can't have sex before you're married, God said that you can't!! Unless of course you're a guy, then it ok, because no one can tell the difference anyway."
Such a sexist religion. And violent as well. Religion has caused wars and murders and all the bad stuff. And they still try to convince us that it's about peace and love. Sure it is, what else could be a demonstration of love than killing people because of religion? And doesn't matter that God said "don't judge".
That's why I don't like religions and hate fanatic religious people.
Ou and sorry I made accent mostly about christianity, I just know that religion better, but don't worry, other religions are pretty much the same.
Stories about one of the third world countries from one of it's citizens. You can see it better when someone actually from there tells the story.

What to do when you're cheated on?
I was just a child (probably 7 or 8) when I first heard grown ups discussing something about cheating. I immediately decided that if a husband cheats on you, you should cheat back. That seemed very fair to me. Grown ups made me shut up right away. Why? Because if a man cheats it's ok, but if a woman cheats, she's a whore. So she should just give her husband an evil eye and that's it, they should go on being "a family". Oh and no divorce of course.
In my country most people still believe that men are superior. Men are allowed to have sex before marriage, while women should stay virgins until they get married (even if that happens when they're 40).
Not being able to have sex with your crush makes you desire him/her even more right? So that causes early marriages. Then they have kids right away (as I said in one of the previous posts). By the time they have a baby they have already satisfied their sexual needs and are not interested in each other anymore. A guy goes cheating (with whores mostly and sadly) while girl stays home taking care of the kid, because girl can't cheat right? And no divorce of course, they have a kid, how can they divorce. And that seems normal to most of the people, because it is believed that men want sex more than women.
Another thing is that with all the virginity and stuff men should be able to make the best sexual partners out of their wives right? No! You can't use your wife as a sex toy, you love her! Whores are made to be sex toys.
Sadly also girls who are not married and aren't virgins (or are divorced) are called whores too and many believe that they have to have sex with anyone who asks, because they're whores.
But back to the main topic - what is a woman supposed to do when she's cheated on? I still say - cheat back! If you don't stand for yourself, no one else will.

University of Iceland
I applied for fall semester at UI this January. I really wanna get masters degree. The thing is that they don't like to give you answers or if they do answer, it's wrong and you have to check it again and ask additional questions.
Their web site says that foreigners get their acceptance letter in March, the person I asked told me that the answer would be at the end of May. Now the problem is that Directorate of Immigration takes like 3 moths to review the documents, then you also need to get all the documents ready and that takes time, documents also take time to reach Iceland so if my calculations are correct I'll get the residence by October (that is if I get accepted) and the semester starts in August or September. Then I can't just fly to Iceland the next day right? I need to quit the job, get tickets, get ready and stuff like that so I'll finally get there at half the semester.
I told that to person I was in contact with at UI. She didn't even bother to answer.
I wonder if someone actually knows what they're doing there
