Another child was killed by hunger

Few days ago a 1 year old child died from hunger in my country. Parents were unemployed and couldn't afford to feed their children well. We don't get unemployment benefits in my country, there are only benefits for extremely poor families and even that is very little. This family applied for those benefits lots of times and all of the times government rejected them.
Now that the poor child is dead, government blames the parents. Ok, parents are guilty for not thinking that if they can't afford condoms, there is no way they can afford another baby. But I also don't see the government giving a fuck to any of those problems. I've seen those benefits going to the families where everyone is working, or to those who have some 'friends' in the ministries.
Everyone knows that the government gives some finances to the church (not just some but 3 millions). I don't see church doing anything useful with that money. What I see are bunch of priests in expensive cars, holding very expensive phones, carrying golden crosses and golden chains and being very fat. They might say that they use the money to build churches, as if that could do a miracle and feed the poor itself.
I know that the church has bunch of businesses, free from taxes. Their product costs more than ordinary products. And the same church tells me that they care about people? Well I see everyone around cares a lot about freeing people's souls from their bodies.
An average of 300 children (age 0-5) die every year because of lack of necessary nutrition. We don't even know about those cases, no one talks about that, no one cares probably.
Out country is a third world country. Our government tries to convince everyone else that we're next to first world. Sometimes we, people living in the capital, forget about it as we're surrounded by rich people. Sometimes we just think, that everything is ok, it's just our family that is poor, and most of our relatives too, but it's just probably us.
I feel sick and ashamed for myself, my government, the church in which most of people here believe.
